その中には説明する時間、組み立てる時間、実験の時間、まとめる時間、後片付けの時間が入っている。従来クロマトグラフィーの教材は自らが組み立てることが出来ない、しかし本装置は学生2人が組み立てることが出来る。また価格が従来、教育用には高すぎたけれども、本装置は約25万円で購入が可能である。日本及び世界の高校、大学の理科教育の実験教材として普及を図る。
